Kullen has had a few major firsts over the past few days…first road trip (to Charlotte), first flight, first time sleeping somewhere else overnight, first time in warm weather, first time at the pool. Wow! He has handled it all with ease and we are all proud and impressed at his flexibility. He was AMAZING on the flight to Florida; everyone was impressed by hour good he was and he basically just slept the whole time. I’m thankful for kind people at the airport who are quick to give a new mommy a hand.
It’s fantastic to be in Florida; it’s 82 degrees and sunny, and feels like summer! Everyone is pitching in to help with feedings and it makes this feel like a true vacation for me. Kullen is smiling and playful and seems to do something new and cute every time he’s awake and playing. He loves staring at lights and the faces of teddy bears, and kicks a lot when he’s getting changed. He stares at our faces with intense captivation when one of us talks to him after he eats.
